A school district in Metro Vancouver was in need of additional classroom space to accommodate the growing student population.
As the demographics at each school fluctuate from year-to-year, the client wanted a classroom solution that allowed classroom portables to be relocated between schools based on future demand. Flexibility was a priority, but without sacrificing on comfort and quality for the teachers and students.

BOXX Modular (formerly Britco/BOXX in BC) supplied the client with more than 20 classroom portables at multiple locations, creating the productive learning spaces required in the district. These buildings were designed to be very energy efficient using a heat pump HVAC system along with a sound-absorbing ceiling treatment and bright interior finishes.
