The engineering firm Burns & McDonnell needed offices and workforce housing as part of a multi-year project with SaskPower. The construction project was created to build the new Great Plains Power Station in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.
Once the power station comes online in 2023, it will generate enough electricity to power a city the size of Saskatoon. The station will be powered by a combination of natural gas generation, as well as through the integration of renewable energy sources such as wind and solar.
This project is one of many by customers like Burns & McDonnell and others that benefit our communities and the environment, and BOXX Modular is excited to support their efforts with affordable and high-quality modular buildings!
